Ashland Progress
Mr. Clarence Lee Chastain, age 89, passed away at his home on the Wesobulga road, 
about two miles south of Ashland on Tuesday evening at an early hour. He had been 
in poor health for quite a while and his death was not unexpected. Mr. Chastain 
was a native of Ac-worth, Ga. He was a mechanic by trade, having been employed by 
the Norrell Motor Company for several years. Funeral services were held this 
morning at 10 o'clock with interment in Macedonia cemetery: He is survived by his 
wife and three children, two girls and a boy.
