John Ed Cheaney 58 Funeral services were held from the Bethel Church last Tuesday 
for John Ed Cheaney. 58. who died at the Russell hospital on Monday. Burial was 
in the adjoining cemetery with the Revs. B.B. Finley, Grady Birchfield. Eldridge 
Easterwood and Versho Wallace officiating Surviving are the widow, Mrs. J. E. 
Cheaney, Cragford; one son, J. M. Cheaney, Cragford; two brothers. G. W. and S. 
D. Cheaney, Cragford: four sisters, Mrs. Royal Spears. Alexander City, Mrs. Jeff 
McCain, Cragford, Mrs. J. L. Alford. Wadley, and Mrs. W. H. Jones, Cragford.
