Alexander City Outlook
T.L. Cheaney, 74, died Wednesday, September 1, 1941, at the home of J.L. Alford, 
Wadley, Route 3. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Bethel Church, with 
the Rev. Birchfield and the Rev. Wal lace officiating. Burial was in the 
adjoining cemetery, Cantrell directing. He Is survived by seven children: three 
sons, G. Cragford, Route 1, J. Cragford, Route 1, and G. W. Cheaney, Alexander 
City; four daughters, Mrs. J. L. Alford, Wadley, Route 3, Mrs. W.H. Jones, 
Cragford, Route 1, Mrs. Royal Spears, Alexander City, and Mrs. T. J. McCain, 
Columbus, Ga.
