Anniston Star
The Patrol said Judy Ann Cheatwood, 8, Delta, was thrown from a car driven by her 
mother when it sideswiped another vehicle nine miles north of Lineville on 
Alabama Highway 9. Judy Ann was hurled to her death when a door of their car flew 
open in the collision.

Delta School and community are very sad this week, became of the loss of a sweet 
little girl, Judy Ann Cheatwood. She was in the third grade. Her life was taken 
in a car wreck Saturday afternoon.
