Anniston Star
Mrs. Zether L. Cheatwood, 73, of Delta, Rt. 1, died Thursday. Funeral services 
will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church near Delta, with the Rev. 
L D. Dempsey officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Blair 
Brown-Service Funeral Home in charge.  Survivors include her husband, A. P. 
Cheatwood; a daughter, Mrs. Ike Haynes of Bynum; six sisters, Mrs. Jess Phillips 
and Mrs. Clyde Waldrep, both of Anniston, Mrs. Parker Gray of Leeds, Mrs. Delmas 
Morrison and Mrs. Jessie McKebben of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Mrs. Zora Whatley of 
Georgia two brothers. Howard Pruett of Oxford and Charlie Pruett of Rossville. 
Ga.: a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
