Judson C. Cobb, 87, of Heflin, died Sunday at his residence after a short illness. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Clay County, with the Rev. Glenn Cooper, the Rev. Will Hollingsworth, the Rev. Harold Blanton and the Rev. Frank Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Dryden Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cora Lee Cobb; four daughters, Mrs. Lena Gann of Birmingham, Mrs. Charles Coker and Mrs. B. A. Clark, both of Anniston, and Mrs. Ike Smith of Heflin; 12 sons, Samuel Cobb of Bremen, Ga., J. C. Cobb Jr. and James Cobb, both of Oxford, Luke Cobb of Atlanta, Ga., Winford Cobb, Roy Cobb, Billy Joe Cobb, Jimmy Cobb, Johnny Cobb and Gay Cobb, all of Heflin, Russell Cobb of Anniston, and Gerald Cobb of Ashville; 46 grandchildren, 47 greatgrandchildren and several great-great- grandchildren. The Rev. Cobb was a resident of Cleburne County most of his life and a past minister of Bethel, Flatrock and Hepsabah Baptist Churches. The body will remain at the residence until time of services.
