Wednesday morning, we are informed that the death angel is still in the land and 
has claimed for his victim the wife and mother, Mrs. Riley Cockrell. Only v a 
short period of illness preceded her untimely death, and the news came with a sad 
surprise to the relatives and friends in her immediate neighborhood. Blood poison 
from a scratch on the hand resulted as above stated. She leaves a husband and 
several children who were all present when the end came.
