Services for Mrs. Missouri Cockrell, 81, of Lineville, Rt. 3, will be today at 2 
p.m. at Lineville Church of Christ with Charles Box and Olin Wormack 
officiating. Burial will be in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Lineville with 
Benefield Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Cockrell died Friday at her residence 
after a short, illness, survivors include her husband Luther Bennett Cockrell of 
Lineville; two daughters, Mrs. Oravell Mitchell of Lineville and Miss Maebell 
Cockrell of Ashland; a son, Braxton Cockrell of Lineville; a sister, Mrs. Grady 
Sims of Lineville; 11 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Mrs. Cockrell 
was a native of Clay County, a homemaker and a member of Lineville Church of 
Christ. The body will remain at the funeral home until one hour prior to the 
time of services.
