He was a cousin of Mr. Ernest Coker and was also known by the writer as well as by several others here. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Coker. He taught school at Eagle Creek several years ago and was an able teacher and was liked very much by all his pupils. Curt as he was fondly called was of a jolly nature, always so full of life. His body was laid to rest at Sikesville cemetery Monday. He is survived by his wife, a number of children, an aged father and mother, several brothers and sisters and lots of other relatives and friends. Keenly do we feel this loss, but we feel sure it is heaven's gain. So let us strive to meet Curt "over there" to part no more.
