H. Collier, one of the oldest citizens of Fox Creek beat, died at his home near the Barney old mill last Friday, and his remains were laid to rest at Black's Campground last Saturday afternoon. The deceased was 86 years old and was one of the best-known citizens of Fox Creek beat. He had served the people of that precinct in the I capacity of Justice of the Peace for many years until his deafness prevented his serving them in this capacity longer.
