Mrs. Sarah Donna Conaway, 78, Cragford, Rt. 1, died Sunday at the residence. The 
funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Cragford Baptist Church with burial to 
follow in Cragford Cemetery, Blair Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include 
daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Burson, Mrs. Elma Thrasher, and Mrs. Cewila Short, 
Cragford; Mrs. Clovin Thrasher, Birmingham, Mrs. Wilma Vickers, Ashland, and 
Glois Howell, Columbia, S.C., and Mrs. Betty Funderburk, Montgomery. Also; 
surviving are one brother, Charles Conaway Anniston; three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie 
Hunt, Heflin, Mrs. Lela Gibson, Pensacola, Fla. and Mrs. Cora Fisher, Lucama, 
N.C., and two, brothers, Lonza, Denney, Boaz, and E. H. Denney of Bowdon, Ga. 
and 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Mrs. Conaway was a lifelong 
resident of Cragford and a member of the Cragford Baptist Church.
