Roanoke Leader
Last Monday at noon. May 25th, the death angel visited the home of Mr. Jack 
Conoway and carried away his loving companion, aged 72. She was formerly Miss 
Emily Wilson. She is survived by her husband and 12 children, 1 sister and 1 
brother and a host of relatives and friends. Interment was made at New Hope 
(West) cemetery May 26, at 5 p.m.
