Ashland Progress
Funeral rites for Mrs. Ruby O. Corley, 88, were held at Liberty Hill Methodist 
Church on Nov. 17 at 3 o'clock p.m., conducted by Rev. E. G. Hutchens and Rev. 
Gerald Champion. Interment was in church cemetery with Blair Funeral Directors in 
charge. Pallbearers were Carl Mattox, Don Riddle, Harold Royster, Lavertis 
Brooks, Hubert Riddle and Horace Brooks. Mrs. Corley passed away at Ocala, Fla en 
route to Ashland from Lakewood, Fla., on Nov. 15. She had been in ill health for 
several months and had been in Florida to be with her relatives. Survivors 
include two sons. J. R. Walters of Greenacre City, Fla. and O. A. Walters of 
Miami, one granddaughter, Mrs. Madeline Barnes of Lake Fla.
