Charles E. Cotney 80 Montgomery died Wednesday. Funeral will be 3 pm Friday at 
Wesabulgee Baptist Church Clay County with burial in Ebenezer Church Cemetery 
according to Johnson-Brown Service Funeral home here. He was born May 13, 1891, 
in Clay County Ala. He was a veteran of World War I.  Survivors three sons James 
Cotney LaGrange Ga., Ethridge Cotney, New Braunfels Tex., Billy Cotney Miami 
Beach Fla., four daughters Mrs. Daniel Lanett, Mrs. Tommy Walsh, Mrs. Sara 
Haralson and Mrs. Mary French all of Miami Fla., a sister Mrs. Josie Hanner 
Lineville, 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
