Ashland Progress
Mrs. Sarah Ann Crabtree aged 67 passed away at her home on Route on March 25th, 
after a long illness, Funeral services were held March 27th at Old Bethel church, 
conducted by Rev. Grady Birchfield Interment was in the church cemetery. Colonial 
undertakers in charge. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mattie 
Burkhalter two sons, Arthur and Seaborn; one sister, Mrs. Beulah Kennedy, and 
three brothers. A. R. and A.L. Kennedy of Cragford.
