Services for Roy Shafford Craven, 67, of Lineville, Rt.1, were Saturday at 
Benefield Funeral Home chapel. Burial was at Clay County Memorial Gardens with 
Benefield Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Craven of 
Lineville; three sons, Curtis Craven of Lineville, Purvis Craven of Marietta, 
Ga., and Thearl Craven of Lineville; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Estes of 
Fairfax; Ala., Mrs. Dean Edwards of Roanoke and Mrs. Lannie Farrow of Cragford, 
Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. Gay Carter of Roanoke and Mrs. Mae Whaley of Roanoke; 
four brothers, Jim Craven of Terrel, Tex., Connie Craven of Roanoke, Dernie 
Craven of Wadley and Aubrey Craven of Wedowee; eight grandchildren.
