Services for Mack Merrill Creed, 76, of Ashland will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the 
chapel of Clay County. Funeral Home with Olin Warmack officiating. Burial will 
follow in Clay County Memory Gardens. Mr. Creed died Friday at his residence. 
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Creed of Ashland; a daughter, Judith C. Brooks 
of Ashland; a sister Kathlyn C. Harris of Ashland; a brother, Louie G. Creed of 
Ashland and a grandson, Lance Brooks of Montgomery. Pallbearers will, be Michael 
Creed, Glenn Harris, Donald Harris, Dwight Harris, Aaron Creed and Anthony 
Creed. Mr. Creed was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County. He was 
retired from Shell Oil. Co. in Sylacauga where he was a machinist. He was also a 
farmer. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II and was a member of 
the Church of Christ in Ashland.
