Funeral services for Areny Preston Creed, 69, of Lineville, Rt. 3, were held at 
Blair Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday at 10 a.m. The Rev. Mansel Carpenter and Frank 
Cook officiated, and the burial was in Campbell Springs Cemetery. Blair 
directing. A native of Clay County, Mr. Creed died at his home Sunday after a 
brief illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lois G. Creed; one daughter, Mrs. 
Sara Turnage, Enterprise, two sons Wayne J. Creed, Norfolk, Va., and Shelton T. 
Creed Mobile; and five grandchildren.
