Ashland Progress
Lee A. Creed, 67, resident of Lineville Rt. 3, died in St. Vincent Hospital, 
Birmingham, April 21st. The funeral was held at the Macedonia Primitive Baptist 
Church Monday, April 23rd, conducted by Elder H. H. Goodman and Elder B. B. 
Finley. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, Blair Funeral Directors in charge. 
Surviving relatives are his wife, Mrs. Addie Birchfield Creed; One son, Fred 
Creed, Birmingham. Two brothers, Joe Creed, Ragland and Press Creed, Campbells 
Crossroads and four grandchildren.
