Ashland Progress
Mrs. Cora Lee Cummings, widow of the late F. B. Cummings passed away Oct. 6th, at 
the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. F. Reeves in Alexander City. She was the mother 
of nine children, four of whom have passed away. She is survived by 2 sons and 3 
daughters, 33 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Her children surviving 
are W. F. Cummings, Montgomery, Mrs. J. F. Reeves, Alexander City, G. D. 
Cummings, Ashville, N. Mrs. A. V. Padgett, Birmingham, Mrs. Caudie C. McCrary of 
Alexander City. Funeral services were held at Macedonia Primitive Church Oct. 7th 
at 3:00 p.m., with Elders B. B. Finley and H.H. Goodman officiating. Radney 
Funeral Home in charge.
