Services for Ellis Buford Daugherty, 67, of Lineville, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. 
at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville Chapel with the Rev. Jackie Taylor and 
the Rev. Dwight Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in the Lineville City 
Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home until time of 
services. Mr. Daugherty died Sunday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include a 
sister, Mrs. Jewell Crawford of Ashland; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Donna McNabb of 
Milledgeville, Ga. and Mrs. Barbara Demopolis of Orlando, Fla.; a stepson, Jerry 
Ontko of Niceville, Fla. and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Daugherty was a 
Randolph bounty native, a former resident of Horida and a Clay County resident 
or the past 13 years. He was retired from the civil service and was a World War 
II Veteran.
