Services for Lessie Vada Daugherty, 96, of Lineville will be today at 3 p.m. at 
Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. L.C. Harris and Eldridge Summerlin 
officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery in Delta. The family will 
receive friends today until service time at the funeral home, Mrs. Daugherty 
died Sunday at Clay County Hospital. Survivors include two daughters, Flossie 
Nelson of Millerville and Geneva Farr of Lanett; two sons, Albert Iverson 
Daugherty of Anniston and H.T. Daugherty of Gainesville, Ga 10 grandchildren; 18 
great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Howard 
Fulmer, David Wesson, Tony Nelson, Steve Daugherty, Gaylon Knight and Marty 
Henry. Mrs. Daugherty, a native and lifelong resident of Clay County, was a 
homemaker She was a member of Old New Home Christian Church and had attended 
Blacks Chapel Methodist Church.
