Denny and the Rev. L.C. Harris officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The body will remain at the funeral home until time of services. Mrs. Daugherty died Monday at Lineville Geriatric Center after a long illness, Survivors include four daughters, Ila Mae Spears of Delta, Mrs. Erzula Spears of Anniston, Mrs. Moree Summerlin of Delta, Mrs. Addle Wood of Lineville; five sons, Henry W. Daugherty of Delta, Jake Daugherty of Lineville, James A. Daugherty of Lineville, Clemon Daugherty of Lineville, John M. Daugherty of Talladega; 34 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be L.V. Summerlin, Dwight Daugherty, Wayne Johnson, Rayford Johnson, Arnold Spears, Pete Spears, Johnny Summerlin and Clyde Brooks. Mrs. Daugherty was a native of Gay County. She was a housewife. She was a member of Shiloh Delta Primitive Baptist Church for 69 years.
