Services for Mrs. Wilma S. Daugherty, 64, of Delta, Rt. 1, were today at Good 
Hope Delta Baptist Church with the Rev. John Whetstone, the Rev. David Porter 
and the Rev. John Lucky officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. Mrs. Daugherty died Saturday at 
Regional Medical Center. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anita Cotney of 
Delta; four sons, Troy Mattox of Ashland, Rayford Daugherty, Jeff Daugherty and 
Terry Daugherty, all of Delta; her parents, William F. and Pearl Sewell of 
Delta; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Birchfield of Oxford and Mrs. Lillie Mae Harris of 
Sylacauga; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Earl Mattox, Dwight 
Daugherty, Ronald Daugherty, Albert Harris, Billy Royals and Larry Spears. Mrs. 
Daugherty, a Cleburne County native, was a Clay County resident most of her life 
and a retired seamstress. She was a member of Good Hope Delta Baptist Church.
