Mrs. Lessie Millie Davidson, 68, of Lineville, died Wednesday at Clay County 
Hospital after a long illness. Services will be Friday at Concord Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Dee Hurst and the Rev. John Joiner officiating. Burial will be in 
the adjoining cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors 
include her husband, Henry L. Davidson; two daughters, Mrs. Jessie Mae Gooden of 
Talladega, and Mrs. Euleen Medley of Bell Glade, a son, Willis C. Marler of 
Ashland; three sisters, Mrs. Dollie Martin, Mrs. Lacy Brannock and Mrs. Gladys 
Drummond, all of Ashland; a brother, R. Z. Shirey of Gadsden; 16 grandchildren 
and seven great grandchildren. The body will remain at the residence from 10 a.m. 
today until time of the service.
