Edmond Addison Davis, 78, of Lineville died Sunday at his residence after a 
short illness. Services were scheduled for today at 2 p.m. at Concord Baptist 
Church with the Rev. Dee Hurst officiating. Burial was to be in the adjoining 
cemetery with Blair Brown-Service Mortuary in charge. Survivors include his 
wife, Mrs. Bertie S. Davis; three daughters, Mrs. Mamie Coe of Talladega, Mrs. 
Vonia Miller of Sycamore, and Mrs. Katie Fowler of Lineville; two sons, Charlie 
A. Davis of Knoxville, and Kennice Davis of Talladega; four sisters, Mrs. 
Claudie Lee Thompson and Mrs. Lorraine Sailors, both of Talladega, Mrs. Lola Mae 
Sparks of Lanett, and Mrs. Mary John Sprayberry of Lineville; two brothers, 
Holly Davis of Talladega, and Harland Davis of Sycamore; 20 grandchildren and 
several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were to 
be Donny Fowler, Terry Robbins, Mike Miller, Sonny Coe, Randy Davis and Ronney 
Meaks.
