Mrs. Nancy Tucker Dawkins as born in Fayette County, Ga. May 29, 1829, married to 
Thomas Dawkins in 1857 moved to Alabama in 1861, died at her home near Mellow 
Valley, where she had lived fifty years Oct. 10, 1914. These are the pointed 
dates of the life of Grandma Dawkins who lived 84 years and 4 months and 12 days. 
She was the mother of 8 Children, 4 living a member of the church 70 years. Her 
burial was at Chapel was largely services by Rev. J.L. Jordan
