Clay County Advance
The death Angel passed over out quiet little town on the 20th of June 1895, and 
with its relentless hand bore from the loud embrace of loving parents, and 
grandparents, sweet little Amsler Dean son of W. T. and Dora Dean. He was born 
June 8th, 1894, and died June 20th, 1895, just one year and 12 days old. How sad 
that the sweet cord of life should be so early severed, but a kind and loving 
Father in Heaven knownth best. Though he may lead us through the shadows, be will 
finally show his smiling face and arch our pathway, with a rainbow of promises. 
May God comfort the bereaved ones and draw them nearer himself.
