Ashland Progress
Mrs. W. F. Dean, 77, died Monday afternoon at 4:15 o'clock at the home of her 
son, J. M. Dean, at Coldwater. The funeral services will be held at the Pleasant 
Grove church in Clay County Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, followed by 
interment in the Pleasant Grove cemetery near the old homeplace. Mrs. Dean had 
lived in Clay County all her life until about two months ago when she went, to 
Coldwater to visit a son where she was stricken with an illness which resulted in 
her death Monday. She and Mr. Dean made their home with their son, C. M. Dean, at 
Lineville. Surviving are her husband, four daughters and nine sons.
