Interment will follow in the church cemetery, with the Usrey Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Dempsey is survived by six daughters. Mrs. W. L. Snow and Miss May Dempsey of Oxford, Mrs. J. E. Gann of Anniston. Mrs. J. W. Crawford of Atlanta, Mrs. Eugene Roberts of Dutton and Mrs. Jim Dukes of Pyriton; four sons, M. B. Dempsey of Anniston, Brady and Pratt Dempsey of Oxford, and Thomas Dempsey of Lineville, two brothers, Ira Spurlin of Port Worth, Texas and Larkin Spurlin Dallas Ga., two sisters Mrs. Robert Counts of Fort Worth and Mrs. Alston Taylor of Heflin, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and eight stepchildren.
