Ashland Progress
George R. Denham, who had been a resident of the Lystra community southeast of 
Ashland for some thirty years, died Sunday, after a few days illness. He was 68 
years of age and had reared a large family. Seven children survive him four sons 
and three daughters and, notwithstanding the fact that several of them reside in 
other states, one daughter in Idaho, they were all present at his funeral. The 
funeral service was held at Lystra Tuesday, conducted by Rev. F.J. Ingram
