Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Denham were held Tuesday morning from the 
Russell Mills church. She died at the Russell hospital on Monday afternoon. 
Graveside rites were conducted at the Sikesville cemetery near Daviston. 
Officiating were Rev. S.H. Guyton, Rev. Carwile, Rev. W. C. Crowder and Rev. 
Forrest Slater. Radney Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Active 
pallbearers were Hoyt Spraggins, Reginald Spraggins, Bill Spraggins, Hollis 
McDaniel, Jack Smith and J. C. Freeman. Surviving are four daughter, Mrs. O. W. 
Spraggins, Mrs. Inez Fuller, Mrs. Roy Forbus and Mrs. Frank Bryars; two sons, 
Levis O. Kennedy and James Alvin Denham; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Smith, Mrs. 
Doris Jones and Mrs. Mittis McDaniel, two brothers, J. C. Green and Doris Green; 
14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
