Ashland Progress
Mrs. Nettie Elizabeth Denney age 63 died suddenly at her home Saturday Nov 19th 
in the Cragford Community. Funeral services were held at Providence Primitive 
Baptist Church Sunday, Nov. 29th, at 2 p.m., conducted by Elder B. B. Finley and 
Elder Phillip Kelly. Mrs. Denney is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Tenny; 
seven sons, J.B., Beamon, Charles U.V., Fred, Claxton, Arland and Garlend. Her 
husband, Elder W.B. Denney, preceded her in death several years ago.
