A. Dial, well known young businessman died at his home in Delta Sunday. He had been failing in health for some time, due to a lingering malady, and friends who were aware of his condition were not surprised to hear of his death. Funeral services were held at Providence in his old home community Monday and were attended by a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends. The service was conducted by Rev. F, J. Ingram of this city. The deceased leaves a wife and two small children. Lineville Headlight: Another death of unusual sadness which cast a gloom over this entire community and also the Providence community was that of Mr. L. A. Dial at his home here Sunday at noon. He was such a good man, aways doing good wherever he went, and owing to his youth, being a few months over 31 years of age, makes his going doubly sad. He has left a vacancy here that can never be filled because of his usefulness and generous spirit, and we extend our sympathy to his bereaved wife, little son and other relatives.
