Anniston Star
Services for Aaron Pearce Dison, 90, of Lineville, Rt. 2, were today at Olive 
Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Lester Bullard and Elder B. B. Finley 
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Blair-Brock Funeral Home in 
charge. Mr. Dison died Sunday in Clay County Hospital after a long illness. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Irene Lee Dison of Lineville; four daughters, 
Mrs. Gertrue Golden of Childersburg, Mrs. Ruth Rowe and Mrs. Maudine Elliot, 
both of Talladega and Mrs. Adelle Williams of two sons, Clyde A. Dison of 
Lineville and Gordon M. Dison of Huntsville; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Mae Lynch of 
Opelika; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. pallbearers were Tommy 
Golden, Paul Golden, Buford Golden, Gordon N. Dison Michael P. Elliott, Roscoe 
A. Williams and Richard Q. Williams. Mr. Dison was a native and lifelong 
resident of Clay County and a retired farmer. He was a member of Liberty Hill 
Methodist Church.
