Ashland Progress
Mrs. Carrie Duke, of Columbus, Ga, daughter of Mr. Jim Morris, of this place, was 
laid to rest in the Providence cemetery last Friday, February 11th. She leaves a 
husband, a son and a daughter to mourn her untimely death. 

Additional Comments:
This is Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Clay County. She was the 
daughter of James Morris & Mary Young. She married Wm Rowland Duke.

They have two children buried at Providence:
1. Inez Duke born 1907, died 1924.
2. Jessie Duke no dates
