Anniston Star
Richard S. Duke, age a died at his residence at Pyriton, Route 1, at 7:15 o'clock 
this morning after an Illness of several weeks. Funeral arrangements had been 
completed today but will be announced later by Whit Funeral Home. Services win be 
conducted at the Mount Zion Christian Church near Delta and interment will be in 
the Union Cemetery. Surviving are the wife and son, J. C. of Pyriton;. and five 
dau Mrs. Ada Brasher, Anniston, Mrs. Cecil Turner. Hopper Tex. Mrs. H. S. 
McMichael Thomsuba,  Mrs. W. F. Spurlin. Pyriton, Mrs. J. M. McMichael of 
Goodwater.
