Ashland Progress
Rufus Duncan an inmate of the County Home died at an early hour Monday after an 
illness of about a month. His death is said to have been due to measles 
complicated with bronchial pneumonia. He came to the County Home several years 
ago with his aged mother and remained with her until her death. He was buried 
Tuesday morning at Pleasant Grove beyond Lineville near where he formerly lived. 
One sister who survives him resides in that community.
