East, 87, of Lineville will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at McCollum Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Latham, the Rev. Troy Williamson and the Rev. Valter Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Barfield Baptist Church cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge. The family will receive friends at the residence where the body will be until an hour before services. Mrs. East died Tuesday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Thelma Page of Aynor, S.C., Mrs. Lucille Whitley of Anniston, Mrs. Nell Blair of LaGrange, Ga., Mrs. Eulalah Williamson of Clemson, S.C., Mrs. Ruby Porter of Lineville and Mrs. Bobby J. Littleton of Gulf Breeze, Fla., four sons, Kenyon East of Columbia, S.C., Bill East of Lineville, Joe East of Leesburg and Edwin East of DeArmanville; two sisters, Mrs. Lixie Whatley of Anniston and Mrs. Velma Moore of Birmingham; 40 grandchildren and 36 great- grandchildren. Mrs. East was a native and lifelong resident of Clay County and a housewife. She was a member of McCollum Baptist Church.
