Highway Patrol officials said the victim was a passenger in a car driven by his son. The vehicle was struck from behind when it slowed down. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church la Clay County with the Revs. George Payne and Frank Young officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey in charge. The survivors Include the widow. Mrs. Pearl Easterwood; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Cobb, Mrs. Edger Frames, Mrs. Thomas Warren and Mrs. Ellis Sprayberry, all of Delta, Rt 1; six sons, Charles, Anniston; Billy Hugh, Harold, Marvin, Junior, Donald, all of Delta, Rt 1; two brothers H. Easterwood, Oxford, Rt 2; Shepherd, of Delta. Two sisters Alma Crosson, Oxford. Rt 2, Mrs. Melton Ligon, Delta Rt. 1 and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews K.
