Services for David Edmondson, 73, of Talladega will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at 
Clairmont Springs Baptist Church in Clay County with the Rev. Walker Bynum 
officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery with Benefield 
Funeral Home of Lineville in charge. The family will receive friends today at 
the funeral home where the body will be until an hour before services. Mr. 
Edmondson died Tuesday at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. Survivors Include 
his wife, Mrs. Vester Edmondson of Talladega; a daughter, Mrs. Daisy Horn of 
Talladega; two sons, George Edmondson and Gary Edmondson, both of Talladega; two 
brothers, Jim Edmondson and John Edmondson, both of Lineville; and two 
grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Terry Rollins, Randall Rollins, Grant 
Nichols, Greg Nichols, Earl Albright, Phillip Pearce. Mr. Edmondson was a 
Randolph County native, a former Cleburne County resident, and a Clay County 
resident for the past 46 years. He was a retired wood producer and a member of 
Clairmont Springs Baptist Church.
