Funeral services were conducted for John Henry Eidson, 75, at the Cragford 
Baptist Church Tuesday. The Rev. B. W. Mathews and the Rev. Reuben Birchfield 
officiated with Blair Jackson-Funeral Home in charge. Burial was in the church 
cemetery. Mr. Eidson had resided in Clay County all his life and was a retired 
farmer. He died at his home following a heart attack. Mr. Eidson survived by his 
wife, Mrs. Leslie Griffin Eidson of Lineville, Rt. 1; 2 sons, Dorcy Eidson and 
John Eidson, Chattanooga, Tenn; and a daughter Mrs. Julia Hendon. Rossville, Ga.; 
Pallbearers were Walker McGraw, Braxton Cockrell, Curtis Griffin, Olin Griffin, 
Stevie Yates and Iverson Griffin.
