Ashland Progress
Funeral services for Joseph J. Eidson, 81, were held Dec. 17th, at Macedonia 
Church with Elder B. B. Finley officiating. Blair in charge. Mr. Eidson, a life-
long resident of Clay County was called by death at the home of his son, J. R. 
Eidson, on Dec. 16, following an illness of several weeks. Surviving Mr. Eidson 
are three sons, Thurmond, Eidson, Bristol, Aubrey Eidson, Hopewell, and J- R- 
Eidson, Lineville Two brothers, Charlie Eidson, Albertville Ike Eidson, Oklahoma, 
Pallbearers included Bennett Cockrell, Void Price, Clinton Ford, J. H. Eidson, 
Harvey Bradford and Curtis Griffin.
