Elder H. H. Goodman and Judge W. B. Nolen officiated. Blair Funeral Home was in charge and interment was in the Macedonia Cemetery. Mr. Elliott died at Clay County Hospital Wednesday morning following an illness of several months. Mr. Elliott had lived In Clay County all his life and had lived in the Olive Branch Community for many years; He was a retired farmer. Mr. Elliott Is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dollie Thompson. Elliott, whom he married 55 years ago, one son, James Earl Elliott Selma, one sister. Mrs. R. J. Giliam, Route 1, Ashland. Pallbearers were Pearce Elliott, Gay Elliott, Duel Elliott, Marvin Elliott, Cecil Beck, Hal Phillips. Honorary pallbearers were C. M. Pruet, Morgan. E. F. Moon, Stell Young and H. V. Miller.
