Services for James Gay Elliott, 65, of Ashland, Rt. 1, were to be today at 4 p.m. 
at Olive Branch. Baptist Church with the Rev. A. A. Jacobs officiating. Burial 
was to be in Macedonia Cemetery with Blair-Brock Funeral Home in charge. Mr. 
Elliott died Wednesday Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jane Ray Elliott of 
Ashland; and a brother, George E. Elliott of Childersburg. Pallbearers were to be 
Harold Avery, Arthur Price, Steve Wilson, James Hudson, Allen Elliott and Jimmy 
Elliott. Honorary pallbearers were to be deacons of Olive Branch Baptist Church. 
Mr. Elliott was a native and lifelong resident of Ashland and a member of Olive 
Branch Baptist Church. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of World War II.
