James Pearce Elliott, 81, of Ashland, Rt. 1, died Monday at Clay County Hospital 
after a short illness. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Olive Branch 
Baptist Church with burial in Macedonia Cemetery and Blair Brown-Service Mortuary 
in charge. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Siddie Elliott; three sons, Milton 
Elliott of Lineville, Lovell Elliott and Ray Elliott, both of Talladega; two 
sisters, Mrs. Beulah Mellon of Ashland and Mrs. Liller Pogue of High Springs, 
four grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.
