Farr, 58, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. D. J. Oswalt, Anniston, Rt. 5, yesterday morning at 4:30 o'clock after a two-months illness. A native of Clay County, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Providence Methodist Church at Delta, a member of the Hardy Howell Lodge, 459, of the Masons of Delta. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Providence Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Ingram officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery, Usrey in charge. Mr. Farr if survived by three sons, James P. of West Point, Ga., Willie E. and Billy Joe of Anniston, two daughters. Mrs. D. Oswalt of Anniston, Rt. 5, Mrs. W A. Norris of Anniston; one brother; two sisters; and nine grandchildren.
