Anniston Star
Jesse C. Farr, 58, died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. D. J. Oswalt, 
Anniston, Sunday morning, June 13th, after an illness of two months. Mr. Farr was 
a native of Clay County, a retired farmer. He was a member of the Providence 
Methodist Church at Delta, and the Hardy Howle Lodge, 459, of the Masons of 
Delta. Funeral services were held at his church Monday afternoon. Survivors are: 
three sons, James West Point, Willie E. and Billy Joe; Anniston, two daughters, 
Mrs. D. J. Oswalt, Anniston, Mrs. W. A. Morris, Anniston, one brother, two 
sisters and 9 grandchildren.
