Anniston Star
Leroy Jackson Fields, of Talladega, Rt. 3, died Tuesday morning at Talladega 
Nursing Home. Graveside services were today at 1 p.m. at Lineville Cemetery with 
the Rev. D. Hurst officiating, Usrey Funeral Home in charge. Survivors include 
his Wife, Mrs. Maggie J. Fields; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Owens of Anniston 
and Mrs. Christine Chambers of Jonesboro; a son Leroy Fields Jr., of Montgomery; 
two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Conville of Ashland and Mrs. Eda Caudle of Cullman. Mr. 
Fields had lived in Talladega County the past 50 years.
