Ashland Progress
Miss Iola Naomi Finch died at the home of a brother, B. E. Finch, August 9th. 
Funeral rites were held, from the Mineral Springs Methodist Church August 10th, 
with Rev. Hobart Murphry officiating. Blair in charge of interment in the church 
cemetery. Miss Finch, a resident of Pyriton, leaves a mother, six brothers, B. B 
and J. V., Talladega, W. M. Ashland, B. E., C. G. and H. P. Lineville Rt. Three 
sisters, Mrs. R. C. McWilliams, Mrs. Lorene Shopshire and Mrs. Rudel Smelly, 
Talladega. Pallbearers were Allen, Roland, Carl and Kenneth McWilliams, Tommy 
Smelly and Earl Finch.
